Seoul: The Foreign Affairs Ministry and Expatriates strongly criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the occupied Palestinian territories and the statements made during it: In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry considered the visit a retreat from India's historical position of support for the Palestinian cause.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry indicated that standing with the Israeli entity is standing with the oppressor against the victim, with falsehood against truth, and with injustice against justice. The statement explained that the usurping entity has committed and continues to commit crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 72,000 people and the injury of more than 171,000 others.
The Ministry pointed out that while the Israeli entity has become an international pariah due to its crimes and repeated violations of international law, India is working to support it and strengthen its ties with it. Furthermore, the Foreign Affairs Ministry addressed the recent US decision to provide consular services within a settlement in the West Bank, considering it evidence of America's efforts to liquidate the Palestinian cause and its partnership with the Israeli entity in all its crimes.
The Ministry reiterated the Republic of Yemen's principled and unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause, standing alongside the brotherly Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to regain all their rights and establish their independent state with Quds as its capital.
