Sana'a: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned the Zionist enemy entity against the ongoing desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist war criminals and hordes of usurpers.

According to Yemen News Agency, in a statement issued today, the Ministry condemned the storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by thousands of hordes of usurpers, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and the sanctity of the mosque, and a provocation to the feelings of more than two billion Muslims around the world.

The Ministry emphasized that Al-Aqsa Mosque is the first qibla and the third holiest site in Islam, and one of the most sacred Muslim sanctities. It affirmed that defending it and the Palestinian cause is a religious and moral duty of the Islamic nation, and that Israeli schemes are destined for failure and clear loss.

The statement noted that the stances of Arab and Islamic countries, which have not gone beyond the circle of condemnation and denunciation, are what give the green light to the Zionists to continue their violations and ongoing incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli enemy entity continues to commit genocide crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, and violates the ceasefire agreement on a daily basis.

It stressed that the Palestinian cause will remain the central cause of the nation and a priority for the Yemeni people, and that developments in the region will not divert attention away from it; rather, it will remain at the forefront of Yemen's and Yemenis' concerns.
