Sana'a: The activities of the fourth conference 'Palestine Is the Central Cause of the Nation's' concluded today in the capital Sana'a, which was held with wide local, Arab, Islamic, and international participation under the slogan 'You Are Not Alone.'
According to Yemen News Agency, over four days, the conference discussed 373 research papers and working papers presented by academics, researchers, and leaders of thought, science, politics, culture, and media from 91 universities, institutions, and research centers in Yemen and 13 Arab and international countries, with the participation of 56 political and human rights figures and activists from various countries and free people of the world. These discussions were distributed across ten axes, including establishing the Qur'anic vision for managing the conflict with the Zionist enemy, the emergence of global Zionism, and the role of resistance media in shaping awareness.
The conference explored topics such as Zionist expansionist ambitions, the strategic dimensions of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' battle, the Yemeni role in the 'Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad,' and the global conscience uprising from Western universities and cities to international institutions.
At the conclusion, Acting Prime Minister Allama Mohammed Miftah emphasized that the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' battle marked a significant turning point, redefining the conflict's landscape and exposing the fragility of artificial barriers dividing the nation. In a speech delivered on his behalf by Abdulaziz Abu Talib, a preparatory committee member, Miftah highlighted the importance of the conference as an intellectual and political response to the challenges.
He also noted the conference's timing with 'International Quds Day' as a unifying call for the Islamic nation, emphasizing the significance of the Palestinian cause under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.
Miftah explained that the conference was grounded in a Qur'anic vision, analyzing the conflict's roots and the mechanisms of Zionist control over Western decision-making. He pointed out the conference's role in reshaping regional and international dynamics, highlighting Yemen's active participation in the 'Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad.'
The head of the conference's preparatory committee, Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Humran, and his deputy, Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami, explained that the conference's convening was a forward-looking step to anticipate future developments and transformations, emphasizing Yemen's steadfastness and solidarity mechanisms.
They mentioned that the conference received 553 research papers, with 373 being accepted and discussed, involving participants from various countries. Speeches from international activists praised Yemen's efforts and called for unified support for the Palestinian cause.
The speeches stressed the importance of global conscience and academic solidarity in supporting Palestine, urging legal efforts to prosecute Zionist leaders for genocide and war crimes. They called for the activation of 'universal jurisdiction' to hold war criminals accountable and highlighted the need for cooperation with international human rights organizations.
