Sana'a: Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi delivered his nineteenth Ramadan lecture, emphasizing the lessons derived from the life of Prophet Musa (PBUH) and his journey through Midian. He outlined the significance of work and migration in fulfilling one's responsibilities and achieving a stable and righteous life.
According to Yemen News Agency, the lecture highlighted the agreement between Prophet Musa and a righteous old man in Midian, which provided Musa with stability and the means to build a new life. Sayyed Abdulmalik underscored the importance of this period in Musa's life, as it exemplified the Quranic and Islamic teachings that promote a culture of work and diligence. He explained that work is essential for fulfilling mankind's stewardship on earth, as it aligns with Allah's guidance and commands.
Sayyed Abdulmalik further elaborated on the necessity of work for individual and collective strength, emphasizing that humans are created to work and contribute to building life according to divine guidance. He criticized idleness and negligence, stressing that Islam disapproves of such attitudes and encourages believers to fulfill their responsibilities diligently.
