Sana'a: The Pretrial Detention Center in Sana'a Governorate organized an evening of speeches commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), under the slogan "By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have triumphed!"
According to Yemen News Agency, the governorate's human rights official, Ghaleb Bahloul, emphasized the importance of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali to reflect on the consequences for the nation of deviating from the path of righteousness. He highlighted the strong faith and sincere devotion to Imam Ali demonstrated by the Yemeni people, who adhere to his approach of supporting truth and defending the nation. This commitment is reflected in their support for the Palestinian, Lebanese, and Iranian peoples, as well as the nation's holy sites, with Al-Aqsa Mosque being foremost among them.
During the evening, in the presence of the director of the pretrial detention center, Major Mazen Issa, and the inmates of the prison, cultural activist Abdullah Dalham spoke about the virtues and merits of Imam Ali, who represented the extension of the authority of the Holy Messenger, his attributes, courage, knowledge, and asceticism. Dalham emphasized the importance of learning lessons from the consequences of neglecting the great figures of the Prophet's family and the necessity of absolute submission to the commands of Allah Almighty and the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad.
The evening included several songs expressing the significance and importance of the occasion.
