Funeral Held for Female Martyrs in Arhab Targeted by Saudi Airstrike

Arhab:The bodies of three female martyrs, Hanadi Saleh Ali Ahmed Awad and her two daughters, Zainab and Aline Khalil Hizam Murshid Awad, were laid to rest in Arhab District, Sanaa Governorate. The women were victims of a Saudi airstrike that targeted the workers' housing at a cement factory south of Hamdan District last Saturday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral was attended by district director Khaled Al-Aqida, Reconciliation Committees official Bakr Al-Suhaimi, General Mobilization official Salim Qanbour, executive office directors, local authority leaders, and a large gathering of citizens. Mourners expressed determination that the crime would not go unpunished and would strengthen their resolve to confront the Saudi enemy.

The attendees condemned the attack as an atrocity that highlighted the Saudi regime's brutality, comparing it to the actions of the Israeli regime. They emphasized that such crimes would expedite the regime's downfall. Relatives of the martyrs vowed that these sacrifices would not break their spirit or weaken their resolve against the Saudi aggression.

After the burial in the Ayal Suhaim area, a public demonstration was held to denounce the massacre, which resulted in the deaths of eight individuals, including one man and seven women and children, and injuries to 15 others. The participants reiterated their commitment to fight for Yemeni rights and independence, regardless of the costs involved.

They pledged loyalty to the martyrs and readiness to support the fight against Saudi aggression with men and money. The gathering called for continued mobilization, backing the armed forces in a campaign of reciprocal escalation against the Saudi enemy, aiming to lift the siege, secure Yemeni rights, and defeat the aggressors.
