Funeral Held for Sheikh Shukr Saeed Al-Joufi in Al-Bayda

Al-bayda: The funeral procession for the late Sheikh Shukr Saeed Abdulrab Al-Joufi was held on Wednesday in the Al-Qurayshiyah District of Al-Bayda Governorate. He passed away after a life dedicated to serving his country and community.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the funeral ceremony, which was led by Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris and attended by deputy governors Adel Qarmoush, Saleh Al-Joufi, and Amin Al-Joufi, as well as local, military, security, and executive officials, along with mobilization leaders and social figures, Governor Idris praised the virtues of the deceased and his role in social reconciliation and community service.

He highlighted Sheikh Al-Joufi's contributions throughout various stages of national struggle, noting his prominent status as a tribal leader and a key reference in customary tribal arbitration. He described his passing as a major loss for the governorate and the country.

Mourners also praised the late sheikh's national and social contributions, stressing that he was a model of sincere national leadership who dedicated his status to serving national causes and promoting values of tolerance and social harmony, in addition to his steadfast positions in confronting aggression.
