Sana'a: Funeral prayers were held in Hodeida province on Tuesday for Engineer Mohammed Ali Makki, Director of Ras Kathnib Power Plant, who passed away after a career devoted to serving Yemen's electricity and energy sector.
According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral was attended by Hodeida Governor Abdullah Atifi, Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water Adel Bader, Director of the Hodeida Electricity Corporation Engineer Gharsan Abdulbari, Director of the Hodeida Development and Support Fund Dr. Riyadh Mater, along with officials, colleagues, relatives, and members of the local community.
Mourners paid tribute to Makki's professional achievements and years of service in the electricity sector, praising his competence, dedication, and commitment to his responsibilities.
Governor Atifi and Deputy Minister Bader extended their heartfelt condolences to Makki's family, relatives, and colleagues at the General Electricity Corporation, praying for God's mercy upon the deceased, for him to be granted Paradise, and for his family to be given patience and strength during their loss.
