Future University Hosts Event to Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Sana'a: Future University held a speech event in Sana'a on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad and honor top-performing students across various majors and academic levels. According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Majed Al-Hudhaifi, Director of Educational Institutions at the Higher Education Sector, emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion as an opportunity to reflect on the Prophet's life, character, and teachings. He commended the Yemeni people for their unique observance of the religious occasion, noting that it demonstrates their deep connection to the Prophet and their adherence to his values, conduct, and morals. Cultural activist Ibrahim Al-Bousi described the Prophet's birthday as a guiding light for future generations and an educational event that reinforces a faith-based identity. He highlighted the necessity of integrating the Prophet's teachings into daily life through compassion, social solidarity, awareness, and rejection of division. Al-Bousi urged unive rsity students and staff, along with members of public and private universities, to take part in the central celebration scheduled for Tuesday at Al-Sabeen Square. Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Hamdani, Chairman of Future University's Board of Trustees, underscored the lessons and significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday. He stressed the importance of drawing spiritual guidance and inspiration from the Prophet's life and example. Dr. Al-Hamdani also acknowledged the role of Yemen's Ansar in supporting the Prophet, consolidating and spreading Islam, and their ongoing support for the oppressed and opposition to injustice.
