Sana'a: The General Authority for Zakat organized a commemorative event marking the 11th anniversary of the National Day of Steadfastness 1447 AH - 2026 AD, under the slogan: 'Partnership of Blood and Destiny. Yemeni Steadfastness. Victory for the Axis of Resistance. Al-Quds Unites Us.'
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Member of the Supreme Judicial Council, Sheikh Alawi bin Aqeel, emphasized that this anniversary arrives at a time when the Yemeni people are drawing lessons and preparing for potentially greater conflicts. He expressed confidence in Allah's support, which he believes will extend beyond Yemen to the entire Islamic nation, aiming to restore Islam's dignity and pride.
Sheikh bin Aqeel highlighted the unwavering support from Allah, describing Him as the Guardian, Supporter, Protector, and Provider over the past 11 years. He expressed gratitude for the strength and resolve granted to the Yemeni people, enabling them to defend Islam and receive divine support.
He further stressed the necessity for the Yemeni people to focus on defending Islam and responding to calls for help, irrespective of regional or sectarian considerations. He called for unity among Muslims to confront attacks on Islam by disbelief and hypocrisy.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan, reiterated the ongoing steadfastness and resilience of the Yemeni people in the face of aggression and blockade. He expressed gratitude for the blessings of victory and patience on the path of truth.
Sheikh Abu Nashtan acknowledged the sacrifices of the Yemeni people, who have offered their children as martyrs, achieving victory through patience and steadfastness. He criticized traitors and mercenaries who pursued worldly gains at the expense of their land and dignity.
He pointed out the ongoing conspiracies and warfare against Yemen by multiple countries, yet acknowledged the evident divine support and victory for the people of faith and wisdom. He concluded by expressing solidarity with the free people of the Islamic nation in their battle against common adversaries.
