As Saddah:The General Electricity Corporation has announced that the power lines and public electricity distribution network for As Saddah city in the Ibb Governorate will commence operations next Wednesday, November 4, 2026. This will include coupling and trial operation of the electricity current belonging to the Corporation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Corporation has issued a statement urging residents to exercise caution by staying away from electricity transmission lines, particularly high-voltage ones, and to refrain from approaching or tampering with poles, towers, and other components of the electrical network. Additionally, residents are advised to avoid construction near these installations to ensure their safety.
The Corporation emphasized that individuals who fail to adhere to electrical safety instructions assume responsibility for any resulting effects and damages. The statement also highlighted the importance of compliance with safety guidelines and cooperation with the Corporation to safeguard the community.
