Dhamar: The Governor of Dhamar, Mohammed Al-Bukheit, honored the families of martyrs at Uqba bin Nafeh School in Dhamar city today. During the event, organized by the school on the occasion of the Martyr's Anniversary, Governor Al-Bukheit highlighted the importance of commemorating the Martyr's Anniversary, caring for visits to the families and memorials of the martyrs, and recalling the stances and sacrifices of the martyrs while following their path.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Bukheit urged the enhancement of awareness and the culture of jihad and martyrdom for the sake of God, explaining that it is a path to pride and victory, and the secret behind Yemeni resilience in confronting the enemies of the homeland and the nation. Following the event, the Governor of Dhamar and the educational sector official inaugurated an exhibition featuring photographs of the martyred leaders, martyrs of Uqba School, and models of military manufacturing.
Furthermore, cultural and educational activities, the opening of exhibitions, and the honoring of martyrs' families continue in schools throughout the governorate in celebration of the Martyr's Anniversary for the year 1447 AH. Members of the House of Representatives, Najib Al-Waraqi, and the Shura Council, Hassan Abdulrazzaq, along with the Director of Dhamar District, Mohammed Al-Saygal, and local and educational leaders, inaugurated an exhibition of martyrs' photographs in the northern sector of Dhamar city.
Meanwhile, the educational sector official in the governorate, along with educational and mobilization leaders, participated in cultural and honorary events for the families of the martyrs and inaugurated exhibitions of models and photographs of the martyrs at Al-Mithaq School, Al-Sayyida Amina bint Wahb School, Al-Hawra School, Al-Ruwad Girls School, Bilqis School, Aisha School, and Ibn Khaldun School in Dhamar District.
Speech events and ceremonies honoring the families of the martyrs were also held in various schools across all districts of the governorate to commemorate the Martyr's Anniversary. The events, attended by educational, local, executive, and community leaders, included choral and poetic segments expressing the occasion.
