Dhamar: Tribal efforts in Dhamar Governorate have successfully resolved the murder case of the Al-Shanani family in Al-Athluth village, Naqad Subdistrict, Wasab Al-Aali District, which had lasted for twenty years.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a tribal gathering held today in Dhamar city, attended by members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, Najib Al-Warqi and Hassan Abdul-Razzaq, the Governor's Security Director, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Mahdi, a number of tribal elders and dignitaries, the Director of Wasab Al-Aali District, Mujahid Al-Mosannaf, announced, on behalf of the heirs of the victim Abdullah Hassan Shaif Al-Shanani, a pardon for the perpetrators Shanan Abdullah Radman Saeed Al-Shanani and Abdu Naji Saeed Ghanem Al-Shanani, for the sake of Allah and in honor of the attendees.
The members of the two councils praised the heirs' decision to forgive and rise above the wounds for the pleasure of Allah, and commended the efforts of all who contributed to resolving the case. The Governor's Security Director emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of forgiveness, preserving good traditions in reconciliation, and addressing societal disputes through fraternal means.
Attendees also expressed their appreciation for the heirs' pardon, highlighting its reflection of strong bonds of brotherhood, the embodiment of generosity, and the authentic values of Yemeni tribal heritage.
