Governor of Hodeidah Inspects Work Progress at Heritage Tent in Cultural Center

Hodeidah: The Governor of Hodeidah, Abdullah Atifi, today inspected the workflow and level of readiness at the heritage tent in the Cultural Center in Hodeidah city, as part of the local authority's efforts to revitalize cultural activity in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Atifi listened from the Head of the Culture Sector in the governorate, Asad Pasha, and his deputy, Jalal Abdullah, to an explanation about the completed work in the tent, which was designed in a Tihama style embodying the heritage identity of the governorate, to serve as a temporary headquarters for center employees and a platform to host cultural and artistic activities and creative individuals such as actors, playwrights, and writers.

The Governor of Hodeidah affirmed the importance of doubling efforts to ensure the continuity of cultural activity, expressing the local authority's support for initiatives that contribute to preserving popular heritage and strengthening the role of the Cultural Center as an umbrella encompassing all creative individuals in the governorate.

For his part, the Head of the Culture Sector pointed out that work is proceeding according to a phased plan aimed at revitalizing cultural events and programs, considering the heritage tent a first step towards restoring the Center's leading role.
