Hadramout Governor Calls for Unity Against Saudi Influence in Yemen

Hadramout:The governor of Hadramout, Luqman Baras, highlighted the significance of the 14 October Revolution of 1963, which marked the end of British colonial rule and led to Yemen's independence on November 30, 1967.

According to Yemen News Agency, Baras, in a statement commemorating the revolution's 63rd anniversary, praised the sacrifices made by Yemenis and emphasized that their struggle for freedom continues today against what he described as Saudi intervention and occupation in the country's southern and eastern regions.

Baras urged the people of Hadramout and other provinces to unite against Saudi Arabia and its proxies, accusing them of violating Yemen's sovereignty and exploiting its resources. He called for a broad national front to oppose Saudi occupation, accusing them of harming Yemenis and depleting national resources.

The governor concluded by appealing to residents to prevent their sons from participating in what he termed a losing battle that benefits Saudi interests.
