Hajjah:A series of commemorative and cultural events took place across various districts in Hajjah governorate, including Abs, the provincial capital, Al-Shaghadirah, Al-Shahil, Mustaba, and Bani Al-Awam, to observe the annual martyr's anniversary for the year 1448 AH. These events aimed to honor the sacrifices made by martyrs in defense of their homeland.
According to Yemen News Agency, speeches delivered in the sub-districts of Bani Adhabi, Al-Batariyah, and Matwalah in Abs emphasized the significance of marking this occasion. The speakers highlighted the lessons to be learned from the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for Allah, their nation, and its integrity.
The martyrs were praised for their heroism and selflessness. The speakers stressed the importance of honoring their legacy by following in their footsteps, maintaining steadfastness and resilience, and ensuring the welfare of their families. In the provincial capital, Al-Shaghadirah, and other areas, including Janib al-Sham, Janib al-Yaman, Al-Gharbi, and within the educational sector in Bani Al-Awam, events highlighted that the martyrs' sacrifices were instrumental in achieving victory and national pride. The Yemeni people, it was affirmed, remain loyal to the martyrs' legacy across generations.
The events included poetry recitations and traditional chants, reflecting the respect and admiration the Yemeni people have for the martyrs. Local authorities and mobilization committees in Abs organized visits to martyr families across the district, while similar visits were conducted by local authority leadership and the General Mobilization committee in Mustaba's Al-Wast sub-district.
During these visits, symbolic gifts were given to the families of martyrs, underscoring the religious and national duty to care for and support them. The families expressed their pride in their loved ones' sacrifices and affirmed their commitment to continue the martyrs' path until victory is achieved.
