Hajjah Executive Office Plans Celebrations for Prophet’s Birthday 1448 AH

Sana'a: Hajjah governorate executive office, in its meeting chaired by Governor Hilal Al-Sufi, has discussed preparations for celebrating the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in 1448 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the role of all stakeholders and the official and public efforts to celebrate this auspicious religious occasion in a manner befitting its grandeur and reflecting the high esteem in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) is held.

The meeting emphasized the need to expedite the preparation of a plan for implementing official and public preparatory events and activities in the governorate's capital and districts, including decorating streets and government facilities in anticipation of the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.

The attendees also reviewed the level of local and shared revenues during the first half of 2026, the shortfall in revenue, the reasons for the deficit, and ways to develop resources to ensure the implementation of projects approved in the plan.

They discussed the progress of projects, including completed, ongoing, and delayed projects, and explored solutions to address shortcomings in this area.

The meeting also addressed the implementation of the Code of Conduct and the participating offices, emphasizing the need for other government entities to engage in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development.

In the presence of Deputy Governor Adel Shali, they reviewed measures to reduce motorcycle violations and promote traffic safety awareness.

During the meeting, Governor Al-Sufi stressed the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the success of festivals and events commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

He emphasized the need to adhere to the Code of Conduct and the directives of the Cabinet and the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development to improve performance and develop resources.

He urged everyone to recognize their responsibility and the critical juncture the country is facing, and to strengthen resilience and stability while elevating the level of services provided to the community.
