Hajjah:The main team responsible for overseeing the Code of Conduct in Hajjah, led by Deputy Governor Adel Shalli, conducted a review of the code's implementation at the Public Telecommunications and Information Technology Corporation's office in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the visit included Civil Service and Administrative Development Office Director Dahyan Al-Qadhi and other team members. They engaged with Telecommunications Office Director Sami Al-Khatib and the office's code of conduct team to discuss implementation mechanisms aligned with the Civil Service Ministry's directives, as well as the challenges faced and proposed solutions.

The visit also evaluated the use of automated systems linked to the corporation and ministry to enhance oversight, regulate conduct, and rationalize spending. An emergency plan was reviewed, which is in place due to ongoing attacks on telecommunications towers.

Furthermore, the team assessed the implementation of several ministry initiatives, such as 'A State's Day, One Day,' aimed at completing citizens' transactions on the same day to simplify procedures and prevent extortion. Other initiatives include 'Role Model,' promoting integrity and commitment among administrative leaders, and 'Rationalizing Office Supplies,' intended to protect public funds and ensure efficient use of stationery.

The team commended the office's leadership and staff for their efforts to improve the work environment and public services despite challenges. They emphasized that adherence to the Code of Conduct is essential for promoting integrity, responsibility, and professional excellence, while enhancing institutional performance. The team also confirmed that field visits will continue to cover other executive offices and government units across the governorate to improve performance and services.
