Hamdan District Celebrates Mawlid al-Nabawi with Cultural and Faith-Based Activities

Hamdan: Hamdan District in Sana'a Governorate witnessed a wide faith-based and cultural movement celebrating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family). The Women's Authority organized events, seminars, and activities across different areas, including Bayt Na'am and several villages and schools, focusing on the Prophetic biography, drawing lessons from it, and affirming the role of Muslim women in promoting faith-based and educational values and emulating the morals of the noble Prophet.

According to Yemen News Agency, activities in the villages of Wasat Dala', Alaw Dala', Al-Khamsin, Rayshan, and Sha'b Al-Muzayyin included a methodological and cultural competition for students of Martyr Ali Muttlaq School in Alaw Dala' village. A cultural and educational seminar was held at Duroob Al-Ilm School in Bayt Al-Shuway' village, discussing the Muhammadan qualities and the role of youth in embracing religious values.

The villages of Bayt Al-Hamzi, Maqahid, South Al-Sawdah, North Al-Sawdah, East Al-Mahjar Al-Wadi, Madam, West Al-Wadi, and Shamlan were also active with various awareness and cultural activities and seminars. The Women's Authority further prepared an intensive program of events in the villages of Bayt Al-Adhari, Al-Qanahah, Al-Gharzah, Bayt Shuway', Dharhan, Al-Madawir, Madhbal, Al-Damam, Al-Arshi, Barish, and Bayt Hamzah.

Participants in the seminars and activities emphasized the importance of adhering to a faith-based identity and emulating the noblest Prophet, praising the active role of women in commemorating religious occasions and reinforcing steadfastness and social solidarity.
