Sanaa: The Haydara United Foundation launched today, at the Orphan Development Foundation in the Capital Secretariat, a project to distribute Eid al-Adha sacrificial meat to 200 orphaned families.
According to Yemen News Agency, the President of the Haydara Foundation, Suhair Al-Muayyadi, explained that the sacrificial meat project, funded by the Human Development Fund and the United Humanitarian Foundation under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, is part of the Orphan Sponsorship Project. This project specifically targets 200 orphans, both male and female, in the Capital Secretariat.
Al-Muayyadi reaffirmed the foundation and its partners' dedication to carrying out the sacrificial meat distribution project on an annual basis. This initiative aims to alleviate the hardships faced by the poor and needy, including orphans, especially during the challenging times the country is experiencing.
She highlighted that this project embodies the principles of social responsibility, integration, and solidarity in supporting the most vulnerable community groups. The intent is to bring joy to the hearts of orphans by helping their families acquire sacrificial meat.
Al-Muayyadi also acknowledged the support provided by the Human Development Fund and the United Humanitarian Foundation in backing this project. She commended the Ministry of Social Affairs for its role in facilitating the project's implementation, as well as the many humanitarian and social projects carried out by the Haydara Foundation.
