Muscat: Activities marking the Prophet's Birthday were launched on Saturday in Hazm Al-Udain district of Ibb governorate with a ceremony organized by the district's Security Department in cooperation with the Civil Status Office branch under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Province undersecretary Jamal Al-Hemyari, District Director Zakaria Al-Masawa, and the governorate's awareness and guidance sector official Ahmed Al-Muhajiri. Al-Muhajiri explained that commemorating the Prophet's Birthday represents a faith-based and awareness-raising occasion to recall the Prophet's life and emulate the values and principles established by the Noble Prophet.
He called on everyone to translate the celebration of this important religious occasion into actions that promote compassion, solidarity, cooperation, and community service. For his part, Colonel Ahmed Al-Moushki, director of the district's Security Department, affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's Birthday reflects the deep attachment of the district's residents to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and strengthens their sense of responsibility in maintaining security and stability and serving the community.
He noted that the security services will continue to carry out their duties responsibly, alongside the district's residents, to ensure the success of the activities and programs organized for the occasion.
