Muscat: Jabal Rawa'een: Activities commemorating the Prophet's Birthday were launched on Saturday in Jabal Rawa'een Subdistrict of Jiblah district of Ibb governorate. At the event, Mohammed Al-Warafi, director of the General Authority for Water Resources and Facilities branch in the governorate, affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's Birthday is an occasion to recall the fragrant biography of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and reflect on the values of faith, morality, mercy, cooperation, and community service embodied in his message.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Warafi noted that celebrating the occasion should translate love for and emulation of the Noble Prophet into practical conduct that promotes a sense of responsibility, solidarity, benevolence, and stronger bonds of cooperation and unity among members of society, contributing to the building of a cohesive society based on Prophetic values in all aspects of life. He called for active participation in the events and activities accompanying the Prophet's Birthday and greater community involvement. He stressed the importance of integrating official and community efforts to ensure the success and proper organization of the occasion's programs, reflecting its significance among the Yemeni people and their pride in the Noble Prophet, his biography, and his approach.
Speeches were also delivered at the event, which was attended by Jiblah District Director Sultan Al-Shaja'a, Health Office Director Asim Al-Manhami, and Assistant District Director Mohammed Makarem. The speakers emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's Birthday and drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, particularly its values of faith, morality, compassion, solidarity, and community service. They noted that the occasion represents a faith-based opportunity to strengthen awareness and attachment to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and to draw inspiration from his positions in promoting responsibility, benevolence, and cooperation. They also stressed the importance of reflecting love for and emulation of the Noble Prophet in conduct, work, and dealings.
The speakers underscored the importance of concerted official and community efforts to ensure the success of the activities accompanying the occasion and strengthen the spirit of solidarity and unity among community members, contributing to the promotion of faith-based and moral values in all aspects of life. The launch was attended by Jabal Rawa'een Subdistrict General Mobilization official Mubarak Al-Jabali, along with a number of dignitaries and social figures from the subdistrict.
