Sana'a: Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority Judge Dr. Marwan al-Mahaqeri recently conducted an inspection of the workflows in various courts within the capital city.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. al-Mahaqeri, joined by the Head of Sana'a Court of Appeals, Judge Taha Aqaba, assessed the performance and discipline levels in the two commercial divisions and the Commercial Court of First Instance. A meeting was held with key judicial figures, including Judge Mahmoud al-Mansoub, Judge Shamsan al-Dhaib, and Judge Zaid al-Ghafari, to discuss case review mechanisms, workflow challenges, and solutions. They also monitored the implementation of circulars and decisions designed to streamline procedures and expedite case resolutions.
The inspection included visits to courtrooms, clerks' offices, information departments, and archives. Dr. al-Mahaqeri reviewed case registration and archiving procedures, receiving briefings from judges and staff on case nature and task completion. Further meetings with court heads, such as Judge Ibrahim Al-Azzani, Judge Khalid Khurais, and Judge Ismail Al-Mutawakkil, provided insights into case progress and performance improvement needs.
Dr. al-Mahaqeri addressed issues concerning citizens' complaints, detainees' conditions, and case nature, directing appropriate actions. He underscored the significance of maintaining discipline, adhering to schedules, and facilitating procedures. Coordination with Public Prosecution, executive bodies, and law enforcement was emphasized to ensure case file completion, adjudication, and judgment execution.
