Hodeida: Hodeida governorate witnessed seminars and public vigils on Saturday to mark the annual anniversary of the al-Sarkha slogan under the theme 'The Slogan is a Weapon and a Stance.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the events featured academic seminars at Hodeida University and colleges in Bajil district. Public vigils were also held in several districts, including Kamaran, Bajil Hospital, and rural areas of Bura and Al-Durayhimi.
Speakers at these events described the slogan as both a political and ideological stance. They referred to it as a symbol of resistance and identity and linked it to broader regional issues, particularly support for Palestine. Continued mobilization and readiness amid ongoing tensions were emphasized.
Participants reiterated that the slogan, launched by Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, represents a rejection of external influence. They viewed it as a call for ongoing political and social mobilization.
