Sana’a: The Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Dr. Marwan Al-Mahqari, has inspected the preparatory work for the establishment of new courts in the districts of Old Sana’a, Al-Tahrir, Al-Wahda, and the Zakat Court. He emphasized the requirement to complete all necessary preparations and commence court sessions within the week.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Justice confirmed that the preparations are progressing in accordance with a defined plan, with the aim of launching operations on the scheduled dates. The Head of the Authority also assessed the workflow within the military judiciary, engaging with officials to review session scheduling mechanisms and the overall progress being made.
Dr. Al-Mahqari highlighted the importance of maintaining judicial discipline and the swift resolution of cases. He further explained that the establishment of new courts is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing judicial services and reducing the burden on existing courts. The military judiciary’s crucial role in protecting rights and preventing acts of treason was also underscored as part of this initiative.
