Sanaa: Al-Badr College for Quran and Islamic Sciences, along with its affiliated religious schools, celebrated the graduation of 183 students named the ‘Martyr Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghammari Class.’
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony underscored the ministry’s commitment to supporting educational institutions and Quranic instruction for building a generation armed with knowledge, faith, and values. Education Minister Hassan Al-Saadi commended the college’s staff for their dedication in nurturing students’ religious and practical knowledge, enabling them to serve Islam and society effectively.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabiha Nasser, Head of the Martyrs Foundation Taha Jarran, and other senior officials. Sheikh Mohsen Abu Nashtan, head of the General Authority for Zakat, highlighted the role of graduates in upholding ethical and religious values and addressing societal challenges.
The graduation ceremony featured the oath of allegiance to continue following the path of the Quran, along with Quranic recitations and patriotic poetry. These elements reflect the college’s mission to inspire faith, knowledge, and social responsibility in its students.
