Tehran: Head of the National Delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, congratulated the dear Muslim Iranian people on the constitutional selection of the scholarly, steadfast, and courageous revolutionary Mojtaba Khamenei as the third leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdulsalam noted that this selection comes amid exceptional wartime and security circumstances facing the Islamic Republic. He affirmed that the Iranian people and their constitutional institutions have demonstrated their commitment to the path of the founding Imam and the spirit of the martyred Imam Ali Khomeini, who devoted most of his life to serving his people, nation, led Iran's modern revival, and left behind a lasting legacy of scientific, intellectual, jihadi, and humanitarian contributions.
He explained that the election of the third leader represents a resounding blow to the forces of global arrogance-namely the United States and the Zionist entity-stressing that all bets on assassinating leaders and pursuing aggression have failed. He added that Iran, at the popular, revolutionary, and institutional levels, is stronger than the Zionist-American military machine, and that it is a nation whose strength continues to grow through its revolution and the immense sacrifices of its people.
The head of the national negotiating delegation also reaffirmed Yemen's support for Iran in confronting the US-Zionist aggression.
He pointed out that this aggression targets the entire nation and the Palestinian cause, aiming to dominate the region and violate its sovereignty in service of the Zionist enemy's interests. He warned the peoples of the region of the seriousness of the current phase, the need to act in support of Iran in its defense of Palestine and the future of the region.
He added: 'In this context, and with the continued US-Israeli aggression, we reaffirm Yemen's solidarity with Iran. As Iran defends itself, it is also defending Palestine and the future of this entire region so that it does not fall under Zionist domination, be violated by the Satan Party, or be ruled by the evil Epstein gang.'
