Al-Mahwit:Health awareness activities have been launched in schools throughout the Al-Rajm District, spearheaded by Al-Mahwit Deputy Governor Abdul Salam Al-Dhamari. The initiative aims to promote health awareness among students, encouraging healthy habits and raising awareness of disease prevention.
According to Yemen News Agency, the activities are a collaborative effort by the district's education and health sectors. During the launch, Al-Dhamari emphasized the critical role of school awareness programs in instilling healthy behaviors and preventing the spread of diseases. He also noted the necessity of coordination between the education and health sectors to enhance students' health awareness.
District health awareness officer Dr. Ali Al-Bashari highlighted the significance of educating students about healthy practices and methods for disease prevention. Additionally, the deputy head of the district's education sector, Mohammed Al-Hamzi, underscored the importance of school-based health awareness activities in promoting positive health behaviors among students.
