Hajjah: The Health and Environment Office in Hajjah Governorate received the health center project in the Al-Dhahrah area of Al-Jumaimah District from the local authority in the governorate today.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project was implemented by the executive unit for projects through a community initiative, in cooperation with the local authority in the governorate. The initiative aims to provide essential health services to the residents of the Al-Dhahrah area and its surrounding villages.
During the handover, Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Qadi, along with Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahlani, the Director of Health and Environment in the governorate, and Yahya Al-Wazzan, the Director of Finance, inspected the center's structural facilities. They also assessed its needs for furniture and medical supplies.
Deputy Governor Al-Qadi highlighted the role of the Health Office in furnishing the center and providing the necessary supplies. He commended the community's efforts in executing the initiative and acknowledged the support from the local authority in the governorate for the project.
The Director of the Health Office emphasized the project's significance, noting that it will serve the residents of Al-Dhahrah and nearby areas. The project is expected to reduce the burden on residents by minimizing the need to travel to other districts and areas for medical treatment.
The handover event was attended by several local, mobilization, and social figures, showcasing the community's involvement and support for the health center project.
