Sana'a: A two-day training workshop for field health teams participating in the central Prophet's Birthday celebration at Al-Sabeen Square began in the capital Sana'a on Saturday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop is organized by the Central Health Committee and is training 600 participants from the National College of Health Sciences. The focus is on preparing them to work at the venue, which includes the safe transportation and triage of medical cases.
At the opening of the workshop, National College of Health Sciences Dean Dr. Abdullah Muslim, along with Field Camps and Hospitals official Fares Idris, highlighted the importance of equipping the teams to provide first aid, health guidance, and medical assistance to attendees. This preparation is crucial for ensuring safety at the main venue and its entrances.
Dr. Abdullah Muslim and Fares Idris commended the Ministry of Health and Environment, the Central Health Committee, and the Yemeni Red Crescent Society for their efforts in organizing the workshop. They emphasized the significance of acquainting participants with their responsibilities and health procedures during large-scale events.
