Hodeida: Authorities in Hodeida governorate destroyed 1,650 expired bags of French fries products deemed unfit for human consumption.
According to Yemen News Agency, the destruction was carried out by a specialized committee including representatives from the Office of Economy, Violations Prosecution, Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, and Security and Intelligence Directorates. The committee confirmed the products had expired and violated standard specifications.
Office Director Saleh Atifa emphasized the importance of ongoing field inspections. These inspections aim to seize spoiled and expired food items to safeguard consumer health and deter violators in accordance with the law.
