Muscat: Hodeida governor Abdullah Atifi inspected the service and development performance in the districts of al-Tuhaita, Zabid, and Beit al-Faqih, focusing on the quality of services provided to citizens.
According to Yemen News Agency, Atifi visited al-Tuhaita Rural Hospital to review healthcare services, discuss operational challenges with the medical staff, and assess the hospital's needs for equipment and supplies to improve patient care. He stressed the local authority's commitment to supporting the health sector and addressing obstacles to enhance service delivery.
The governor also inspected Zabid's primary prosecution and court, reviewing case management, legal procedures, and coordination between judicial bodies to ensure justice and expedite case resolution. He praised the efforts of judicial staff and called for further improvements to facilitate legal processes.
In Zabid, Atifi met with directors of the Zakat Office, Public Works, agricultural cooperatives, and the Agricultural Union to discuss service performance, coordination, and measures to support farmers and local development.
Additionally, the governor held meetings in al-Tuhaita and Beit al-Faqih with the Ministry of Agriculture's Grain Authority, cooperative leaders, and other officials, emphasizing the importance of coordination between governmental and community entities to enhance services, development, and food security across the governorate.
