Meteorology Center Predicts Cold Weather, Rough Seas

Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted cold and relatively cold weather in the mountainous highlands, and rough seas south of the western coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait during the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center suggests that the weather may be cold during the night and early morning in the highlands of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda governorates. It is expected to be relatively cold in the highlands of Al-Jawf, Marib, Hadramawt, Shabwa, Ad-Dali', Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, Al-Mahwit, and Hajjah.

The sea conditions are anticipated to be rough south of the western coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, with wind speeds potentially reaching 25 knots.

The center issued warnings to residents in the aforementioned mountainous areas to prepare for the cold weather, emphasizing caution for the elderly, children, the sick, and those working during the night and early morning.

Additionally, seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains operating south of the western coast and Bab al-Mandab are advised to be cautious of the rough seas and high waves.
