Hodeida:Governor Abdullah Atifi initiated the second semester of the 1448 AH academic year on Saturday across schools in the province. During his visit to Abu Bakr School in Al Mina District, accompanied by education officials, Atifi reviewed the learning process and student attendance at the beginning of the semester.
According to Yemen News Agency, Atifi emphasized the importance of enhancing education, supporting students, and strengthening the role of schools and educational staff. He called on school administrations and teachers to increase efforts in monitoring academic progress, ensuring regular attendance, and providing a conducive learning environment.
The province's education sector official confirmed that technical and administrative preparations had been finalized, and schools throughout the districts were ready to welcome students According to approved schedule. The official commended teachers and school administrations for their ongoing commitment.
In a separate visit, Deputy Education Sector Official Abdulmajid Al-Shumairi, along with Al-Hali District Education Director Hassan Wahban, launched the semester at Al-Alfi School and inspected student attendance.
