Hodeida Official Launches Handicrafts Workshops and Art Exhibitions at Bajil Summer Centers

Hodeida: Hodeida Province Undersecretary for Eastern Districts Affairs Amer Muthanna on Sunday inaugurated handicrafts workshops and art model exhibitions at a number of summer program centers in Bajil district. Muthanna, accompanied by Bajil Education Director Mohammed Othman Sajed, opened the handicrafts workshop at 'Sayyidat Nisa al-Alamin' open center. This center includes specialized sections for sewing and tailoring, incense and perfume making, as well as agricultural activities featuring practical experiments in cultivating several crops and staple grains.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, the deputy governor praised the level of skills and creativity being developed by the female students. He stressed that such specialized workshops contribute to building the capacities of younger generations and guide them toward productivity and self-reliance in ways that benefit both families and society.

Meanwhile, Muthanna and the education director also inaugurated an exhibition of artistic models at al-Sammad Martyr Center and Hani Toumar Model Center. The officials toured the exhibition sections, which featured creative displays and models reflecting the students' cultural and national awareness as well as what organizers described as a spirit of struggle and resilience among participants.

The Undersecretary affirmed that these activities come within the framework of directives issued by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to support youth and children. The aim is to develop their talents in scientific, vocational, and agricultural fields, in a manner that strengthens societal resilience in confronting current challenges.
