Hodeida Officials Assess Agricultural and Development Needs in Al-Khokha and Hays

Hodeida: Director General of the General Authority for the Development of Tehama, Fawaz Al-Adhari, visited the districts of Al-Khokha and Hays in Hodeida province to evaluate agricultural and development conditions and determine the needs of these areas.

According to Yemen News Agency, the visit involved an inspection of the agricultural extension center in Al-Khokha. Al-Adhari assessed its condition and rehabilitation requirements, as well as reviewed agricultural necessities and field data to prioritize the development of the agricultural sector.

The discussions during the visit also covered field plans and programs, including the agricultural and fisheries needs of the districts. There was a focus on improving spate irrigation in the valleys that pass through Al-Khokha and Hays and enhancing the use of available water resources.

Al-Adhari emphasized that the visit was part of the authority's strategy to strengthen fieldwork and synchronize its plans with actual needs. The goal is to implement practical programs that will help normalize conditions, revitalize agriculture, and foster local development in Al-Khokha and Hays districts.
