Hodeida: Employees and staff of the executive units responsible for Qat sales tax and large taxpayers in Yemen's Hodeida province held a mass rally to reaffirm their support for the Sanaa-based leadership's authority to take strategic decisions aimed at breaking the blockade and ending the aggression in Yemen.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants at the rally raised banners and chanted slogans in support of the Yemeni armed forces and what they described as deterrent measures intended to end the conflict and lift the blockade imposed on Yemen by land, sea, and air. They also praised positions supporting the rights of the Yemeni people, particularly those taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The employees warned Saudi Arabia against continuing an economic war and increasing pressure on the livelihoods of Yemeni citizens, stating that attempts to starve the population and exploit Yemen's resources would not go unanswered.

Speaking at the event, Hodeida Deputy Governor for Services Mohammed Hulaisi highlighted the participation of employees from the revenue and service sectors as a reflection of official and public unity in confronting U.S. pressure and the economic hardship imposed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition. He emphasized that responding to the Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi leader's call was the only way to restore full sovereignty and protect Yemen's resources and national wealth.

Hulaisi stressed the importance of assuming responsibility during what he described as a critical stage and intensifying efforts to support public mobilization and maintain a high level of preparedness. He also warned Saudi Arabia against continuing policies that target the livelihoods of Yemenis, adding that the blockade would only result in further retaliatory strikes.

The rally declared full readiness to implement the directives issued by Sayyed al-Houthi leader in his recent speech marking the Islamic New Year and pledged to confront U.S.-led conspiracies carried out through regional allies. It emphasized the importance of strengthening domestic unity and raising public awareness to address the economic and service-related challenges resulting from attacks on national resources and the occupation of strategic areas and oil and gas fields.

The rally announced general mobilization and their intention to take part in military training courses and mobilization activities, while renewing their support for the leadership to take the measures it deems necessary to secure Yemen's legitimate rights and restore national sovereignty across the country. It concluded by calling on Yemenis throughout the country to unite behind the leadership in confronting Saudi forces until achieving complete freedom and independence.
