Sana'a: A meeting today in Sana'a brought together the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, the Acting Director of the Prime Minister's Office, Fahd Al-Azi, and the Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Ja'man, to discuss the road project needs of Amran Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works for the Roads Sector, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, and the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mohammed Uqabat. The participants reviewed the approved projects in the governorate and its urgent needs for road maintenance to ensure their preservation and continued service to citizens.
During the meeting, Minister Qahim highlighted the importance of coordination and integration of efforts in implementing maintenance projects according to actual needs and priorities. He noted that such efforts would contribute to alleviating citizens' suffering and serving development in the governorate. He also stressed the need to mobilize community engagement in adopting service and development projects that address basic service needs.
Governor Ja'man indicated that work will commence on completing maintenance and rehabilitation on the Amran-Raidah road, a crucial route connecting the governorate center with several districts. Additionally, maintenance will be carried out on the Al-Qaflah-Al-Abeesah road, as agreed with the Ministry's leadership. He acknowledged the Ministry's attention to the governorate's road project needs, particularly those deemed priority.
