Hodeida: Hodeida undersecretary for northern districts affairs Ghaleb Hamzah recently inspected the operations of the multi-purpose agricultural cooperative in al-Qanawis district. During his visit, Hamzah engaged in discussions with the cooperative's chairman, Abdulaziz Owaidan, focusing on the performance and service delivery mechanisms to farmers in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, Hamzah emphasized the significance of field outreach to guide and support farmers in improving agricultural production and adopting improved practices. He also called for the completion of forming agricultural production groups aimed at strengthening their role in supporting local farmers and enhancing agricultural development.
Furthermore, he praised the cooperative's efforts and affirmed the local authority's readiness to address obstacles and improve the district's agricultural sector.
