Hodeidah: The Governor of Hodeidah, Abdullah Atifi, conducted an inspection of the Hays and Al-Khawkhah districts, affirming the stability of conditions following their recent liberation by the Armed Forces. The districts were freed from the control of Saudi forces and their mercenaries on the western coast fronts.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Atifi was accompanied by key officials including the First Undersecretary of the Governorate, Ahmed Al-Bashri, and the Director of Security, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi. During the visit, they toured the streets and neighborhoods of the two districts, observing signs of normalcy and stability. They met with local notables and citizens, conveying congratulations from the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council on the recent victory.
Governor Atifi also reviewed the living conditions of the residents, hearing about the hardships they faced during the period of aggression. He emphasized the importance of addressing the citizens' needs and improving basic services in the area. The Governor reiterated the victory of the Armed Forces as a strategic shift, marking a new phase to alleviate the suffering of the Tihama people.
The governor acknowledged the cooperation of local leaders and social figures with the Armed Forces in resisting enemy schemes. He directed executive and service agencies to begin working on normalizing conditions and restoring essential services such as water, electricity, and healthcare.
Governor Atifi explained that efforts are underway to implement a general amnesty for those misled by the aggression. He urged those remaining in enemy ranks to take advantage of this opportunity to return safely to their homeland.
The people of Hays and Al-Khawkhah expressed their satisfaction with the victory and reaffirmed their support for the Armed Forces and security agencies. They emphasized their commitment to maintaining the achieved stability and confronting any future threats.
