Al-hodeidah: Al-Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atifi extended on Tuesday condolences and sympathy over the passing of Mohammed Ahmed Al-Ashiq, Deputy Director of Hodeidah Fishing Port for Services Affairs, who passed away after a life dedicated to service and contributions to the fisheries sector.
According to Yemen News Agency, during his visit to the bereaved family, Governor Atifi praised the late Al-Ashiq's virtues and significant contributions to the development and improvement of the fishing port's operations, as well as his role in supporting fishermen and advancing the fisheries sector, one of the most vital economic sectors in the governorate.
He affirmed that with Al-Ashiq's passing, the governorate lost a sincere administrative talent, noting that his legacy will remain a testament to his efforts in serving Hodeidah.
The governor expressed his heartfelt condolences, sympathy to the bereaved family, colleagues, and the fisheries sector at large, praying that Almighty God grant him mercy, forgiveness, admit him to His vast gardens, grant his family patience and solace.
