Sana'a: The Undersecretary for the International Cooperation Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Ismail Al-Mutawakkil, met with the Country Director of Handicap International in Yemen, Reshma Azmi, who offered condolences over the attack targeting the Prime Minister and his colleagues.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Ambassador Al-Mutawakkil stated that the attack on the Prime Minister, his colleagues, and state institutions, as well as the continued targeting of civilian sites by the Israeli enemy, constitutes a grave crime and a blatant violation of all international laws and norms.

He emphasized that targeting a civilian government has no legal or religious justification, contravenes international conventions, and represents a serious precedent-a first in modern history-of attacking a civilian government.

The Undersecretary highlighted that Israeli aggression against Yemen and Gaza is part of these crimes and calls for a firm and unified international stance. He noted that Yemen will continue to stand by Gaza and support it against the Israeli enemy's actions, including starvation, siege, and attacks, amid an embarrassing international silence.

He stressed that the world's conscience must be awakened and not remain silent in the face of these serious violations.

For her part, the Country Director of Handicap International expressed her deep regret over the attack on the Prime Minister and his colleagues, affirming the organization's solidarity with the government, the families of the victims, and the Yemeni people.

She reaffirmed the organization's commitment to continue its humanitarian programs, particularly in supporting persons with disabilities and providing emergency medical services.
