Hodeidah: The Hodeidah Security Department organized a speech event to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad. Governor Abdullah Atefi said the occasion reflects the Yemeni people's deep attachment to the Prophet and reinforces the values of faith, unity, dignity, and resilience. He stressed that adherence to the Prophet's teachings is essential amid current regional challenges and accused some regional regimes of aligning with the United States and Israel.

According to Yemen News Agency, Atefi said Yemen's support for the Palestinian people and the resistance axis stems from its religious and humanitarian responsibility, describing it as a continuation of the Prophet's approach in supporting the oppressed. He also condemned what he described as the 12-year Saudi-led blockade on Yemen and praised the efforts of security personnel in maintaining stability.

A speech delivered by Sheikh Ali Adhabi, Vice President of Dar Al-Uloom Al-Sharia University, highlighted the spiritual significance of the Prophet's birthday and called for renewed commitment to his teachings in light of current developments in the Islamic world. He criticized the alignment of some Arab governments with the United States and Israel and said the occasion strengthens awareness, faith, and adherence to Islamic principles.

For his part, Hodeidah Security Department's Public Relations Officer, Lt. Col. Bassam Al-Laei, said security personnel draw inspiration from the Prophet's life in fulfilling their duties with responsibility and dedication. He added that the Yemeni people continue to demonstrate resilience in the face of the blockade while maintaining support for the Palestinian cause.
