Hodeidah: Tribes in Al-Maghlaf District, Hodeidah Governorate, have declared a general mobilization and readiness to join efforts to restore Yemen's sovereign rights and break the ongoing blockade, responding to a call from the revolutionary leadership.
According to Yemen News Agency, during a significant armed tribal gathering organized by the General Mobilization, participants reaffirmed their support for the armed forces, pledging to reinforce the frontlines with fighters and resources. They expressed their willingness to make sacrifices in defense of the country and to enable the Yemeni people to benefit from their national wealth.
The tribes of Al-Maghlaf emphasized their commitment to defending the nation's dignity and supporting strategic decisions aimed at deterring the coalition, liberating occupied territories, and restoring looted resources. The gathering, attended by notable figures including Northern Districts Mobilization Official Maj. Gen. Fadhel Al-Dhayani and District Director Amr Abdulbari, issued a statement declaring full compliance with the revolutionary leader's call. It renewed the tribes' commitment to advancing the national liberation struggle and ending occupation and foreign tutelage.
The statement highlighted concerns over ongoing Saudi-led plans under U.S. supervision, citing the occupation of parts of Yemen, control over oil and gas revenues, and the continuation of an economic war that has prolonged humanitarian suffering. The tribes welcomed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi's speech marking the anniversary of the Prophet's Hijrah, reaffirming their opposition to the Zionist colonial project and its Western backers, while expressing commitment to the "Axis of Jihad and Resistance" and the principle of the "Unity of the Fronts."
Furthermore, the statement praised Iran's actions against the United States and Israel, affirming readiness to confront any escalation targeting Gaza or other areas. The tribes vowed to continue general mobilization and expand military training camps, authorizing the revolutionary leadership to take all necessary measures to end the blockade and expel what they described as invading forces.
The statement concluded by calling for unity among Yemenis in both government- and Houthi-controlled areas to confront foreign forces and protect the country's resources.
