Sana'a: In a remarkable display of unity and devotion, Ibb Governorate witnessed an extraordinary gathering last Tuesday to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth, known as Mawlid al-Nabawi. According to Yemen News Agency, from the early morning hours, people from various districts arrived at celebration squares, contributing to a day where faith and cultural expressions intertwined. Key locations included the Square of the Greatest Messenger at Ibb University for men, the sports stadium for women, and squares in Yirim and Al-Udayn Districts. The event saw widespread participation from officials, including the Minister of Education Hassan Al-Sa'adi and the Governor of Ibb Abdulwahid Salah, as well as community leaders.
Despite the rainfall, the enthusiasm of the attendees was undeterred, highlighting the event's significance in the collective consciousness of the governorate's residents. The celebration featured a diverse array of activities, including traditional chants and folk performances, which showcased the unique cultural heritage of Ibb.
