Ibb:Ibb Governorate witnessed significant rallies following Friday prayers, where participants gathered in various districts to honor the sacrifices of martyrs and reaffirm their commitment to resisting what they describe as the Saudi enemy.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rallies emphasized the importance of commemorating Martyrs' Day, highlighting the sacrifices of the fallen and pledging support for their families and children. Participants raised banners to honor the martyrs and expressed their dedication to national principles, Yemen's sovereignty, and the support of the armed forces.
A statement from the rallies declared a continued general mobilization to support the fronts and the armed forces, promising to adhere to the martyrs' path until achieving freedom, full independence, and the restoration of Yemen's rights and resources. The statement criticized collaboration with the Saudi regime for financial gain and praised those who opposed Saudi allegations.
The statement further accused Saudi Arabia of using its wealth to undermine Muslim countries, fuel sectarian conflicts, and described Yemen's actions as a defense of freedom, independence, and religious sanctities. It also reiterated Yemen's stance on key Islamic issues, particularly the Palestinian cause, and called for vigilance against what it described as Saudi propaganda.
Residents of the southern governorates were urged to support the army and armed forces, asserting that operations target only Saudi-led military mobilizations. The statement also praised Taiz residents for supporting the army and efforts to expel Saudi-backed militias while rejecting Saudi claims of a siege on Taiz city, asserting no restrictions on food and humanitarian supplies.
