Al-Udayn:Ibb Activities marking the annual Martyr's Anniversary for 1448 AH have been launched in the western districts of Ibb governorate, including Al-Udayn, Far Al-Udayn, Hazm Al-Udayn, and Mudhaykhirah, with a cultural event held in Al-Udayn city.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ibb province undersecretary Qasim Al-Masawa stated that commemorating the annual Martyr's Anniversary serves as an occasion to honor the sacrifices of the martyrs who defended the homeland's sovereignty and independence. He emphasized the importance of learning from the martyrs' sacrifices and showing loyalty by supporting their families.
Al-Masawa also highlighted the opportunity the occasion provides to raise awareness of the principles and values for which the martyrs sacrificed their lives. He urged continued efforts in confronting aggression and supporting national causes, particularly the Palestinian cause.
Sinan Al-Sinan, Al-Udayn District Director, speaking on behalf of the local authority and General Mobilization, commended the martyrs for their devotion and generosity in defending the homeland. He called for practical actions to support the martyrs' families, reinforcing social solidarity.
The event concluded with Al-Masawa and other officials opening a photo exhibition featuring martyrs from the four districts, showcasing their sacrifices and heroic stances in defending the homeland.
