Sana'a: Rector of Ibb University Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili inspected the progress of theoretical and practical educational activities at the Faculty of Dentistry, as well as its academic and technical readiness, coinciding with the start of the new academic year. During the visit, accompanied by University Secretary-General Abdulmalik Al-Saqqaf, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Dr. Bassam Abu Talib, Vice Dean Dr. Ali Al-Shawsh, and Faculty Secretary-General Salah Al-Dhubyani, Dr. Al-Hujaili reviewed the readiness of classrooms, laboratories, teaching clinics, and various faculty facilities, and assessed their preparedness to receive students in accordance with educational requirements and academic quality standards.
According to Yemen News Agency, the university president received a briefing from the faculty leadership on the progress of the educational process, the level of achievement in educational infrastructure development projects, and future plans aimed at expanding the faculty's capacity and improving its outputs to meet the needs of the healthcare sector and labor market. Dr. Al-Hujaili praised the scientific, academic, and administrative activity witnessed at the faculty, commending the efforts of its leadership and staff in improving performance, enhancing the quality of medical education, and keeping pace with academic accreditation requirements.
He stressed the importance of intensifying efforts, working as one team, and making optimal use of available resources to contribute to preparing qualified medical professionals capable of serving society efficiently and effectively. He affirmed that the Faculty of Dentistry is one of the university's specialized faculties, relied upon for graduating distinguished scientific and professional competencies. He noted that the university presidency will continue supporting development and modernization plans, providing an appropriate educational environment, enhancing practical training and scientific research, and improving the quality of therapeutic services provided by the teaching clinics to citizens.
Dr. Al-Hujaili also praised efforts to develop academic and administrative performance and ensure the educational process follows the unified academic calendar, while preparations continue for the opening of new teaching laboratories and clinics equipped with modern facilities and technical specifications. He said these developments would contribute to improving the quality of clinical training and raising the academic and service performance level of the faculty.
