Dhamar: The Governor of Dhamar, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, and the Chairman of the General Authority for Lands, Survey, and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Al-Mansour, inaugurated the administrative and service automation project at the Authority's branch in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Bukhaiti and Chairman Al-Mansour were briefed by the branch's director, Abdulghani Al-Dailami, on the mechanisms for processing transactions through the new automation system. This system includes dedicated windows for handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, services across all land sectors, the real estate registry, surveying, urban planning, operations, reports, and complaints. An information display screen is also available for citizens to track their transaction progress in real time.
Al-Dailami detailed that the system incorporates SMS notifications to keep citizens informed about their transaction status and expected completion times, while also allowing the branch director to oversee transaction flows across departments.
During the inauguration, Governor Al-Bukhaiti reiterated the local authority's commitment to enhancing the performance and services of all government offices and agencies in the governorate through automation, including the Land Authority branch. He emphasized the project's role in overcoming obstacles to service improvement and called for continued efforts towards further advancements.
Al-Mansour acknowledged the project's significance in boosting administrative efficiency, serving the public, and enhancing the services provided by the Authority. He commended the governorate's leadership for supporting the branch's initiatives and contributing to its development.
Following the inauguration ceremony, the governor and the chairman toured the branch's various departments. Al-Dailami provided insights into the branch's activities, which encompass the registration and documentation of public and private property deeds, field operations, state land inventory data entry, urban plan updates, complaint handling, case follow-ups before prosecutors and courts, and the implementation of judicial rulings in favor of the state.
Al-Dailami also reported a reduction in encroachments on state lands due to enhanced inspection operations and cooperation from judicial and security agencies. He highlighted the archiving of case-related documents, the restoration of network connectivity with the Authority's headquarters, and the implementation of automated systems that have streamlined work processes, archived state land and property cases, created a database of objections to real estate registration transactions, and launched the electronic cadastral map project.
