Inspection of Educational Projects in Sana’a Districts Reveals Significant Progress

Sana'a: The heads of the Planning and Development and Services Committees in the local council of the capital Sana'a, Sharaf Al-Hadi and Adel Al-Aqari, conducted an inspection of educational projects worth 113 million and 389 thousand with local funding. This inspection coincides with the twelfth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Hadi and Al-Aqari reviewed the restoration and rehabilitation project of Al-Shaima School in the Old Sana'a District, which was completed at a cost of 22 million and 819 thousand. They also assessed the project at Martyr Abdullah Al-Wazir School in Shu'ub District, which is 95 percent complete and costs 19 million and 70 thousand. Additionally, they inspected the fencing project of Wahdat Jiwar 731 School in the Bani Al-Harith District, valued at 32 million riyals.

The officials also examined the progress of constructing a hangar for the electricity workshop at the Dhabban Industrial Technical Institute in Al-Thawra District, a project funded by the local authority at a cost of 39 million and 500 thousand. They were briefed by Engineer Ahmed Sharaf and Engineer Tariq Al-Shami on the ongoing educational projects funded by the Secretariat.

Al-Hadi and Al-Aqari emphasized the significance of these educational initiatives, which are prioritized by the local authority to support the education sector, enhance the educational process in the capital, and address the challenges it faces.
